“ Great little Italian pizzeria with comfortable casual atmosphere -- no pretensions here, what you see is what you get. The menu is large enough so everyone can get something they're craving, but focused enough that there's no question what kind of restaurant you're in. This place is like every best-kept-secret pizza joint you see in TV, movies, comic books. The people working there were enthusiastic about being there-- you can always tell when a group of people enjoy working together with how they interact with each other, and this staff works together like a well oiled machine. The portion sizes were incredible for the price; it helps that the food is worth that portion size, too. Crisp crusts, well toasted subs, no shorting on pasta or toppings. A pizza place, we will absolutely be coming back!! ”

“ I stopped by Big Poppa’s for the first time for lunch today. The staff was very nice in greeting me and assisting me with my order. the restaurant was very clean and the food was amazing. The pizza was fresh, hot crisp and flavorful. The chicken cutlet parm was excellent and a great portion size. The owner and all the staff were very polite and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be frequenting this establishment. ”
“ It’s our first visit since this pizza spot opened and we absolutely loved it! Just be cautious, it’s cash only at the moment until they get their POS system working. But they do have an atm you can use to withdraw. Pizza was amazing! They told us it would be a 35 minute wait and it only took about 25 minutes. We ordered a Margherita and a New York Pepperoni. Pizzas were fresh out the oven and have such a delicious flavor! Will definitely be back to try their other varieties. ”
“ This place is incredible! I’ve driven by it probably 200 times and finally came in. Big Papa was in the house slinging pies on a Saturday lunch rush! The pizza by the slice is a great deal and don’t sleep on that Roma pizza! My new favorite pizza place! ”
“ I stopped in there a few days ago for the first time and got an Italian sausage sub. When I got home I noticed there was very little sausage on it. Needless to say I was very disappointed. I knew this wasn't right, so instead of jumping the gun, and slamming them with a bad review, I called and spoke with the owner. After describing my sub, he realized the new girl in the back put sausage topping, which goes on a pizza and not the required amount of sliced links that goes on a the sub. He apologized and invited me back at my convenience and said he would make me the sub the way it should have been made. A few days later, I stopped back in and they remembered my call and were happy to make me a new sub they way it should have been made. This time, it was awesome!! Plenty of Italian sausage, peppers, and cheese. They could not have been more apologetic. Here is the bottom line... people are human and sometimes in a busy business mistakes happen. Some people are too quick to trash a business with a bad review and never give them a chance to address the concern and make it right, which they were more than happy to do. Don't be one of those people!! It turned out to just be a simple mistake with a new employee. If you don't first contact the manager/owner of a business and let them know of your concern and give them an opportunity to resolve the issue then you are being totally unfair. How are they suppose to fix something if they first don't know there is an issue?? In this case they went above an beyond and I'm totally satisfied. I absolutely recommend Big Pappas and will be there again. ”
“ We tried Big Papa’s for the first time and it did not disappoint! We shared a calzone, it was large enough that we had enough leftover to eat later that night. Sweet tea is perfect and the restaurant and restrooms were clean. We will definitely be back! ”
